Grab a bite to eat in town and then head to the milonga. We will be dancing in the magnificent Nelson Boys College Assembly Hall all festival.

.There is a spacious dance floor and heaps of parking on site.


Substantial snacks will be provided throughout the evening.

MILONGA RELAJADA

 Check out the markets, visit the Suter Art Gallery, walk up the Centre of NZ or stroll along our beautiful Maitai River then come and join us for our very relaxed Afternoon Milonga in your Denim and Diamonds.  So many things to keep you occupied in town!  Grab a yummy lunch in town and bring it to the hall if you like!!  

Fruit and light snacks provided.

Saturday 28 Feb 8 - midnight, $60

Head out to dinner first at one of our great restaurants and then come to the milonga for a glitzy night of dancing.  Dig deep into your wardrobe and dress up in your finest golden threads- nothing is too glamorous or too fabulous!

Nibbles, sweet treats and soft drinks will be available through the evening.

HASTA LUEGO MILONGA

Sunday 1 March 1 - 5pm, $45

This is the final formal milonga - a chance to formally say thank you for a wonderful weekend of dancing.  Wear something colourful as we say farewell for another year to our amazing Summer Festival.  Snacks, soft drinks and water provided.

AFTER PARTY/WIND DOWN

THE BOATHOUSE

326 Wakefield Quay, Nelson





If you have time before your flights ... come to the the beautiful Boathouse right on the waters edge, indoor/outdoor venue.  

BYO food and drink and dance inside this iconic Nelson venue. 

Guytons for Fish and Chips (just down the road), or a couple of restaurants can do takeaways or pop into the supermarket and bring your own treats.

 The very last milonga for those who have the tango stamina!  

It’s super relaxed and lots of fun!

REGISTRATIONS

1st preference given to those registering for the whole weekend and as lead/follow couple. All others are put on a waitlist until partnered up.

Don’t hesitate to contact me as I have extra dancers awaiting a partner

Role balancing will be seriously attempted so please invite your favourite dance partner!


OVERSEAS FRIENDS

Please register then pay in cash when you arrive

to avoid pesky bank fees and non-arrival of funds.   


REFUND POLICY

If you cancel after paying we will refund the full amount less $20 handling fee.

If I cancel due  you will receive a full refund.

There is so much to do in Nelson, the gateway to Golden Bay, the Kahurangi National Park, the Abel Tasman National Park, lakes, artists, markets … Basically why not stay a few days extra and really experience all this region has to offer.
